On April 22, 2008 at 0957 hours the Southwestern
Reg. Police Dept. was dispatched to a two vehicle accident on Manheim Rd. and Campwoods Rd., Manheim Twp.
Emily Schilling, 84 yoa of Glenville PA, was on her way to the
Manheim Twp. building to vote.
Schilling was stopped at a stop sign on
Campwoods Rd.
Schilling, traveling east, pulled out from the stop sign for
unknown reasons and was struck by a Double C Lawn Care Inc, Manchester, MD.
truck. The truck was driven
by 29 year old Chad
Crowl of Glenville, PA.,
Crowl was traveling south on
Manheim Rd.
Schilling was entrapped in her vehicle do to the collision and
the jaws of life where used by Lineboro Fire Dept. to free Schilling.
Schilling was then transported to a waiting helicopter.
Schilling was flown to York
Hospital
and is still listed in critical condition.
No criminal charges will be filed as of this time.
