Time of Incident: 1141hrs

On 06/09/08 at approximately 1141 pm. officers were dispatched to 6217 Blooming Grove Road (SR-216) for an accident involving a motorcycle. The driver, 27 Year Old James Bosley of Hanover, Pa. was operating a motorcycle east on Blooming Grove  Road with his passenger 21 Year Old Tara Andrews of New Freedom, Pa.  Bosley stated to investigators that a vehicle swerved into his lane and struck his motorcycle causing it to fall and skid on it’s side. The vehicle failed to stop and left the scene. Bosley and Andrews were ejected from  the motorcycle and received serious injuries. Andrews was transported to York Hospital by helicopter. Bosley was transported by ambulance. Their conditions are unknown at this time.  The investigation is ongoing.  Anyone with information about this accident is asked to call Southwestern Regional Police @ 717-225-1333 Ext-106, Ofr.
