Time of Incident: 1855hrs

Officers were dispatched to the scene of a hit and run crash on Moulstown Road, near Jacobs Mill Rd. in Heidelberg Township at approx. 6:55 p.m.  A 2000 Oldsmobile SUV occupied by Zachary Myers, 18, Justin Wentz, 19, Aaron Lawrence, 18, and Josh Miller, all from Hanover, was sideswiped by a blue in color, 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck.   It appears that the Chevrolet truck crossed the center line of the road in a sharp bend in the 1300 block of Moulstown Road.  The truck left the scene and was driven into a corn field nearby where the operator exited the vehicle and fled on foot.  It was later learned that the truck had been reported stolen to Penn Township police late last week by the owner.  Miller was transported to Hanover Hospital for treatment.  It is unknown at this time what his injuries are.  Anyone who may have witnessed this crash or has any information is asked to contact Officer Michael Matthews of this department at 225-1333x110.
