Date of Incident: 09 August 2008
Time of Incident: 1300hrs

On Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 1:00 pm medical crews, fire crews and the Southwestern Regional Police Department were dispatched to a single vehicle accident on Thoman Drive in North Codorus Township, York County. 

20 year old, Luke Bange of the 5900 block of Thoman Drive, Spring Grove, PA was south bound on Thoman Drive near the Senft Road intersection.  Bange lost control of his 1991 Ford Bronco, causing the vehicle to overturn.  Bange was thrown from the vehicle during the crash.  Bange was pronounced dead at the scene.  He died as a result of the injuries sustained in the accident. 

Additionally, a juvenile passenger was transported to York Hospital for injuries.  His status was unknown at the time of this release.  His injuries are not considered life threatening.  There were no other persons involved. 

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
