On August 21, 2007 the  Southwestern Regional Police were called to a residence on Hamme Rd, Glenville, Manheim Township PA for a forcible rape that occurred earlier in the day.

The adult female victim is mentally handicapped and resides at that location as placed by the state. Charged with the offense is a caregiver, W/M, Lawrence Plummer, 56 YOA, of Manheim Township, York County. The incident occurred at the victim's residence. The victim has received medical attention due to the incident.

After police were called to the scene and prior to our arrival, the subject left the area. Our department was able to determine the location of the suspect in Baltimore County, MD where the Baltimore County Police Department did locate the subject and he was taken into custody. As of this time, he is awaiting extradition back to York County.

The victim has been placed at another residence.
