Time of Incident: 6:15pm
At approximately 6:15 PM on this date a white female in her late 40’s entered the Rutter’s Convenience Store at 1425 Seven Valleys Rd (Rt 616), North Codorus Twp. She requested money and when the employee refused, the female displayed a chrome semi-automatic handgun. The subject left without receiving any money.
The female entered a green Jeep Wrangler and left the store proceeding north toward Route 30. The Jeep was occupied by a black male driver with dreadlocks and another white female in her mid 20’s with red hair.

Suspect information was developed from a
witness who obtained a rear license plate from the suspect vehicle as it
left the store and from video surveillance film from inside the business.
On 10-03-06 at approx. 8:00 AM, one of the suspects in this case was
involved in a vehicle crash in Fairview Twp., York County. The officer who
investigated the crash recognized the vehicle and suspect information from
information that this department had put out to other officers in the
county.
An officer from Southwestern Regional did respond to Fairview Township and did interview the suspect in this case, W/F Tammy J. Starner, 47 Yoa, East Berlin, Adams County. She did admit involvement in this case. The suspect was charged with Robbery, Firearms Violations, and Retail Theft as a result of the incident at the Rutter’s Convenience Store.
The suspect was transported to York County Central Booking where she was arraigned on 10-03-06 at approx. 1:00 PM. The other two suspects in this case are still unidentified as of this time.
