Armed Trespass/Stolen Gun

Arrested: W/M, Douglass Michael Newman, 29 YOA, 205 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA

Charges: Carrying Concealed Loaded Weapon (F3), Receiving Stolen Property (F-2), Theft (F2), Criminal Trespass (M3) 

Officers Mike Matthews and Shaun Dickmyer were summoned to a home in the 4700 blk of Blooming Grove Rd, Glenville, Manheim Twp.,  in reference to the arrestee trespassing at a home at that location. The arrestee’s estranged girlfriend was residing there as she feared for her safety at the couples home.  The officers arrived to find the arrestee’s vehicle blocking the entrance to the home.  Bullets were observed strewn about the front seat of the arrestee’s vehicle.  The suspect was located walking in front of the home.  He was ordered to the ground at gunpoint at which time it was discovered that he had a loaded .357 cal. handgun concealed in his front waistband.  The handgun was discovered to have been stolen from his Hanover employer.
