Gregory Allen Sutherland (22 years old) of Spring Grove, PA was arrested on December 16th, 2005 by the Southwestern Regional Police Department. He was incarcerated at the York County Prison. He was charged with two counts of "Simple Assault" and one count of "Reckless Endangerment". Bail was set at $25,000.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred December 16th, 2005 at approximately 11:48p.m. at Sutherland's residence on Rockville Rd, North Codorus Township. Two women went to Sutherland's home, reportedly to assist their friend who called stating she was being assaulted by Sutherland. The women stated they were met at the door by Sutherland who brandished a shotgun. He placed the gun between their heads and fired two shots. The then physically assaulted them before they were able to flee the scene and call for the police. When police arrived, officers were able to get the other female out of the house. She denied, Sutherland was home. After further investigation, Sutherland was located in the residence and arrested without incident.
