Lisa A. Layden
Sergeant – Criminal Investigations
Lisa Layden began her policing career in 1995 as a part-time officer with a small police department in Cumberland County, PA. Soon after, in the beginning of 1996, Lisa was hired as a full-time officer with North Codorus Township Police Department. In 2002, when North Codorus joined with Heidelberg and Manheim Townships to create Southwestern Regional, she became a Southwestern regional officer as was soon appointed Patrol Sergeant.
Lisa’s dedication and skill in the area of criminal investigation led to appointment as the Departments’ current Sergeant of Criminal Investigations. She investigates most felony crimes and oversees all reported offenses.
Lisa is a native of Wayne County, PA. She has two sons currently in college.
Lisa graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College, Harrisburg, PA (Act 120 – Police Academy), in 1995. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from York College of Pennsylvania in 2007, and her Masters degree in Public Administration from Penn State Harrisburg.
